Whether your goal is to return to everyday activities without pain or to get back to intensive training and competition, rehabilitation at Fizjo-Fan is always tailored to your needs and the stage of tissue healing.
Post-operative rehabilitation
Every surgical procedure requires precisely planned recovery. Properly managed post-operative rehabilitation minimises the risk of complications, reduces swelling, protects against adhesions and speeds up the rebuilding of muscle strength.
What can we help with?
- Peripheral joints: recovery after ligament reconstruction (ACL, PCL), meniscus repair or removal, tendon reattachment and reconstruction (Achilles, biceps), knee or shoulder arthroscopy, hip and knee replacement.
- Spine: recovery after microdiscectomy, spinal fusion and decompression surgery.
- Scar therapy: work on connective tissue after surgery to restore elasticity and prevent adhesions.
Rehabilitation after injuries and sports injuries
Mechanical injuries – whether from the pitch or from everyday activities – call for quick, targeted action. We combine manual therapy with medical training, which not only heals the injury but also eliminates its cause and protects your body against re-injury.
We offer support with:
- sprains, dislocations and joint instability (ankle, knee, shoulder),
- partial and complete tears and strains of muscles and tendons,
- overuse injuries (tennis/golfer’s elbow, jumper’s/runner’s knee, plantar fasciitis, De Quervain’s syndrome),
- recovery after fractures and immobilisation in a cast.
What does the rehabilitation process at Fizjo-Fan look like?
- Detailed assessment and history – at the first visit we review your medical records (X-ray, MRI, ultrasound), we carry out functional tests and together we define the goal of treatment.
- An individual treatment plan – We choose techniques appropriate to the current stage of tissue healing: manual therapy, myofascial release, dry needling, electrostimulation.
- Medical training and movement re-education – we rebuild range of motion, muscle strength and stability in the gym in the same building.
- Return to activity (Return to Sport / Return to Activity) – a safe transition from clinic-based rehabilitation to full load in training or everyday life, confirmed by testing.
